Apple’s iPad mini and iPhone 13 Pro devices are seeing strong demand in the U.S. following an unveiling and start to preorders last week, with estimated delivery dates for some configurations pushed into November.

The online Apple Store says that Wi-Fi models of the Space Gray, Purple, and Starlight iPad minis with 256GB Starlight storage are expected to be available between October 21 and November 4. All cellular models with at least 256GB onboard storage will also be delivered during this time. The arrival of all pink WiFi-only models, 64GB Starlight options and 64GB cellular choices will take place between October 14 and 21.
Five days ago, the iPad mini shipping estimates dropped to Oct. 19 after an open preorder. Some models were pushed back even further into October.
The launch window supply for iPhone 13 Pro is continuing to shrink. The delivery dates for both iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max storage options and colors are Oct. 21-28, respectively. This applies to all U.S. carriers. The initial supply of iPhone 13 minis is steady, with deliveries expected to arrive early October. iPhone 13 configurations will be delivered in the middle part of October.
Apple Stores in brick and mortar will likely have limited iPhone 13 mini inventory on September 24, while stock of the ninth-generation iPad is expected to be low.
U.S. demand seems to be similar to other areas like China. A crush of iPhone 13 orders led Apple’s online store to experience problems.
Apple’s iPad mini was completely redesigned for 2021. It features an all-screen design and A15 Bionic processor. 5G connectivity has been added. Although the initial reviews were positive on Wednesday, some users cautioned about its high price and limited appeal.
