Apple CEO Tim Cook sends a note in memory of Steve Jobs

Apple CEO Tim Cook shared a personal tribute to Steve Jobs Tuesday in a letter addressed to his employees.

Apple’s co-founder and late founder, died after suffering from pancreatic carcinoma. Today’s tribute echoes the sentiments expressed in Cook’s previous anniversary memos. To mark the occasion, the chief executive usually sends an email to staff, reminding them of the immense impact Jobs’s work had on not just Apple but also the technology industry. Cook also commemorates Jobs’ birthday on a regular basis with a Twitter post on February 24, in addition to the Oct. 5, anniversary.
